Google Trends/Related Searches: Slightly Flawed
In the effot to overcome a bit of writer’s block, I googled “blog writers block” and came across a suggestion to hop over to Google Trends to see what’s hoppin’ on the web right now, to get some ideas. I noticed that “economic depression” is the #2 hot trend right now, which isn’t all that surprising. What is surprising is what came up when I clicked on it, and it showed me a few related searches. At least, Google thinks they’re related… somehow…
Can you imagine what kind of trouble that guy was going through to accomplish such a feat? Unfortunately, searching for the same thing myself yields the realization that it’s just another Yahoo Answers thing going around. That does not, however, change the fact that Google thinks the two searches are related.
I suppose, however, that somebody can’t afford bird seed anymore…
