Road Trip Results In Screwey Finances

July 16, 2009 · 0 comments

I have $200 in cash on me right now, all in one dollar bills. Why?

Well, I needed plenty of money to trade with at the Where’s George? gathering, of course. However, I can’t just go deposit the bills I traded for back into my checking account. BIG no-no.

In any case, I borrowed $50 from my secondary savings and told my sister not to cash that check to make sure I had enough cash on me up there for trades, and as a result everything’s kinda screwey. Slowly working it out, and should still be able to repay my sister on time :-) Emergency fund will be easily replenished as well, and all this cash I have will just be my spending money.

As expected, I’m writing on twitter more than here. Like I said before, I don’t have much to talk about between paychecks. Hmm… :-\
