With this latest payment, that finally went through yesterday, I have officially made progress on my Capital One debt. It now stands at an amazing 1.65% lower than where it was at the beginning of the year. Woohoo! I still can’t wait for Friday, when there will be much more progress updating to do…
In other news, I now have a new debt collector on my ass. I’m thinking it’s for Met-Ed, as they’re the only debt I haven’t worked anything out with yet, and the previous collector for that account has ceased contact. I contacted my investor last night and made an offer to him of small monthly payments until the snowball catches up to that debt, haven’t heard back yet. And, finally, my truck is almost out of gas. I checked things out over in my ClearCheckbook account, and was amazed to see that the last I filled it up was April 27th – more than two months ago! That’s a $60-70 expense I don’t want to make. Yes, yes, I know, I can just fill one tank, or get half of one tank… I don’t want to. I always fill it up. Damn these dual tanks! 
Seriously, though, for a truck that gets anywhere from 12-15mpg, that’s phenomenal.

Unbelievable, you made it 2 months without getting fuel. Your job must be close by, which is awesome. That is only $30-$35 a month for fuel, that is less then what I spend and I have ZERO commute to work.
Your doing great, don’t give up. Contact that debt collector and only commit to what you can pay. Tomorrow is going to be a great day! Hold on!

I’ll have to wait for that collector to call me again while I’m on the computer with my budget handy. They actually called me 5 times this morning while I was asleep. 835, 952, 1119, 1220, 1450. Last one woke me up.
I wish my bills would be paid off in 2014. The mortgage won’t be paid until 2036! Keep up the good work.
And wouldn’t you know it, they called again while I was sitting on my computer. But I was busy getting dressed to go out on a call. Hmmph.
