I Got An iPhone 3G
Before you all go freaking out on me, I’ll have you know that dear mother bought it for me, and I don’t have to pay her back for it.
I have always been fine with my old clunker of a Sony Ericcson. It made calls, sent and recieved text messages, and that’s pretty much it – and I was fine with that, as that’s all I needed. I’ve always scoffed at the idea of getting a smartphone, simply because I didn’t need one.
Well, dear mother called me and woke me up the other day with a simple question – do you want an iPhone? Uhh… sure? Two hours later, while I’m at work, trying to get a hold of her on various phones to ask her to deliver it to me at work rather than bring it to the house and force me to wait til my break to come home and get it so I can play with it, she shows up and drops it off. Sweet!
My end of the bargain is that I now have to pay for my share of the phone bill – $35/mo. Not too bad, really. Unfortunately, I’m already becoming addicted to it. Saves me from the cost of a new MP3 player, too, which was on my list of wants, since the old one doesn’t work anymore.
