Know what happens when you don’t pay any taxes all year? You end up owing a lot. I did a rough draft of my taxes the other night, and it turns out I made too much money last year. Never had to pay taxes before… what a bummer. I paid a grand total of $120, and am liable for $1200 more.
But, like the rest of my creditors… I say good luck. Even if they are the one creditor that can storm your house. I’m not too worried.
What I was worried about, though, was the police SUV pulling up behind me as I was out geocaching today. I was working on making this my best day yet, after caching overnight for several hours out in the Harrisburg area, and went for a quick grab at a church. I wasn’t even there for a minute, was putting the log back in the container, and he pulls up. Luckily, he knew what I was doing, just wanted contact info for the cache owner as he’s gotten calls from parishioners thinking it was drug activity going on. So, I went down to the Sheetz, called up my buddy, got the number, and left a message on the PD answering machine. When I got home to log the find, though, it looked like everything was already squared away, and it was. Just got a call from the CO, he just got off the phone with PD, let them know permission was given from the pastor, all that happy stuff. All’s well, but it still was pretty funny… and my first police encounter while caching.
Went home after that, but still managed to meet my goal – 21 finds today, versus 19 on January 22. Just need 7 more tomorrow to hit 100 for the month.
