So I got in to TempForce. I was fully planning on going back to Ingram Micro through them, $10/hr, even though I really didn’t want to (but it’s a job). Well, while I was filling out my app down there, it only dawned on me then that I haven’t been out of there for 6 months yet. So, instead I’m going to a plumbing supply warehouse down in the city, driving a forklift. It’s quite a bit less hourly rate, but with the expected 10 hour days, it actually works out to a little bit more in the end. Weekly pay, which is always good, plus the forklift experience will open doors to… well, more forklift jobs.
I really ought to be calling my landlord right about now and letting him know, and trying to work something out with him. Either that, or start packing up and looking for a new place (as if, I’ll have a hard enough time coming up with first month’s rent, a security deposit will be impossible). If anything, I figure if I do have to move out of here, and end up living out of my truck for a while (which is pretty much what I’m expecting at this point), I’ll probably just take clothes, electronics, and valuables, and leave everything else here. I have too much crap anyway.
My dad has been calling me, leaving messages asking me to call him. Meh. Probably wants his cat back.
P.S. Sent Capital One a “secure email” through their site to stop calling me, and they still are. Go them.

What about getting a CDL? This is an option for a lot of guys. It pays good money and is portable with many jobs. Maybe you can get a job with a landscaper or rock hauler company and let them train you and use their truck to get that CDL. Low earning job could turn into a money maker with potential
Someone suggested moving in with your parents and saving up some money. Is this not an option?
I just looked at your debt. What do you owe your sister for? Is there any way to talk her into forgetting some of it or talk her into taking some of the “crap” you weren’t planning on moving as payment?
@Kristen:
1. No. My mom lives with her father, and I don’t talk to my dad. Nuff said. You should’ve already known at least the second part of that. I don’t want to have to rely on others – remember what happened the last time I did that?
2. Chinese knockoff motor scooter (now otherwise known as a lawn ornament) that I bought last summer to save on gas.
I hope you can work something out with your landlord. My family had to do the car living thing once in awhile, not good.
