But I also want to add this information. Dave Ramsey is totally against debt in all forms, and debt consolidation because it makes the situation worse if you don&#039;t learn how to handle debt, but the fact that your scooter is in your mom&#039;s name is similar to my situation.

My dad was a cosigner on my car loan. I went to Citifinancial and consolidated my car loan and two credit card loans into one payment, using the car as collateral.

The interest rate is high (18%), but  I considered it worth it because this took my dad&#039;s name off the car as being responsible for payments if I didn&#039;t make one. That was a relief to me. The dealership still sends tune up notices and stuff in his name, but I can live with that.

Also, you may want to look into a prepaid cell phone for yourself, so that doesn&#039;t keep hanging over your head.</description>

		<description>wow. the last two posts were really heavy. when i read them my first thought was i want to help!  but of course theres nothing i can do. im not even sure what to say.  does it help to know that someone understands how you feel?  probably not. unfortunately its all i have to give.  just keep on keeping on jake, this too will pass.</description>
