New Job, New Bill

January 22, 2008 · 0 comments

I finally got the call, and I’m starting my new job tomorrow night – yipee! All in the same day, I got my first electricity bill. It turned out to be much better than I had expected – a whopping $25.57. Seeing as it’s for a 23 day period, I’d say a $30 budget line (in my nonexistent budget) sounds reasonable (with the exception of summer). Another $50 AES bill came, so I went ahead and wrote a $60 check to them, as well as paying my $20 yearly ACLU dues.

Now, the only thing I wonder about is why the credit union can’t add or subtract properly.
