Rudy picks up mystery delegate

The Paulunteer wrote a wonderful little article entitled Rudy Giuliani: Fringe Candidate. In it, they note the fact that from the primaries already held Rudy has yet to receive any delegates (unlike Dr. Ron Paul). I checked CNN’s Election Center to see this for myself, as I was quite amused, and found that they were listing Rudy as having one delegate. However, on that very same page was information which completely contradicted this. Actually, it was the lack of information. So I dug a little further, and found this page. Scroll down. No, a little bit further. That’s right folks, CNN has managed to predict the results of the vote in Maine, weeks in advance mind you, with such accuracy as to take it upon themselves to already award Mr. Rudy with one delegate. The Mittster has also been awarded one delegate from Maine, as well as two from Minnesota. What else can we find? The Huckster scores 3 in Arkansas on Feb 5th..

Wait a second…

Hillary gets an absolute freaking slew of delegates from damn near every vote yet to be held in the country – 162 in all that haven’t been voted for yet! Same goes for John Edwards, except for the number. They have a picture up for Mike Gravel that makes him look like he just ate something super sour while ready to hurl at the same time. Our good Democrat buddy DK picks one up in Ohio in March, and Barackorama more than I feel like counting.

Amazing. What started as me thinking CNN did it so as to not make one of their puppets have a big fat ZERO next to his name really turns out to them just fixing the entire primary election process. For a minute there I was kind of worried. *whew!* What a relief. I figure now around Groundhog’s Day they’ll make their decision on the general election winner. Then we can finally sit back, relax, and have a few beers, eh?
