Debt Sucks reached a milestone of 1,000 pageviews today. Huzzah. I’m going in to the credit union tomorrow to close my savings account, for reasons already discussed. I finally finished wiring up my blue light to a switch. I didn’t really have any means to mount it, so right now it’s being held on the far left of the dash with electrical tape. It also looks like a mess – but it works, which is what I care about. Overall, it actually serves to make the place a little more organized, as now there’s less cords hanging around, less confusion over what plug I’m grabbing and plugging in – less grabbing plugs and plugging them in.

Afterwards, I’m heading out to Advance Auto Parts anyway to get a portable car heater. The heater in my truck doesn’t do squat, and this’ll be much, much cheaper than getting it fixed. Looks like $17 for a cheap one, let’s hope it performs to my expectations as the nicer ones are closer to $60. I think I did get the heat fixed last winter… now it only blows lukewarm air.

I should be looking at a little over $300 when I get paid Friday. With all the fretting I did this past week or so, I think I’ll make it just fine til then with what I’ve got.

One fun (actually, miserable) fact I found out today: My student loans accrue roughly $40/week in interest. Kinda makes me wish I didn’t have them, eh?
