Lessons learned
I tried to put everything in for the last week or so in ClearCheckBook, and everything is all fubar. Lesson learned: Put things in there right after they happen, rather than filling the wallet with receipts and forgetting other expenses like credit card payments and CD purchases. It’s too messed up for me to even figure out (I just deleted a transfer from checking, yet it’s still showing on the account that it was transferred to). Can’t make much sense of it. I think I’ll have to wipe it clean and start over – and hope I don’t screw it up again. I also need to watch my checking and credit card accounts, something to the order of every night, to catch monthly expenses that I don’t pay attention to, such as web hosting.
I start working tonight, bright and early at 0400. Direct deposit from the park will be in my account bright and early tomorrow morning, too.
